Tayuya was a kunoichi of Otogakure and a member of the Sound Four. Tayuya, a female flautist who uses her flute for genjutsu and controlling summoned demons. She was very blunt and foul-mouthed towards most people, even towards her teammates, though they were apparently used to her behaviour and usually responsed with nothing more than slight irritation when insulted. Like the rest of the Sound Five, Tayuya constantly referred to her enemies as "trash" and was arrogant enough that she thought she could kill Kakashi.
